VESDOC FOR YOU

For boat guides and instructions

Scan. Find the task. Understand the boat.

A manual explains a product. A good boat guide explains how it is used on your particular boat. Vesdoc will connect original documents to short, practical task cards that the owner can adapt and share by link or QR code.

What we want to make easier.

Start with the task

“I want to start the engine”, “I want to use the windlass” or “Where is the equipment?” Task cards will bring together locations, photographs and numbered steps for the actual installation.

Keep the original as a reference

Manuals and records will be linked to the right equipment. Cards will show their source and update details, making it possible to check and maintain instructions when something changes aboard.

Share what the reader needs

The owner will choose and preview the public boat guide. Guests and borrowers can open it directly through a QR code, while private documents and editing have separate access.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE OF THE PLANNED SERVICE

Imagine someone borrowing your boat for the first time.

  1. Create and check a card for a specific task using the boat’s actual equipment and manual.
  2. Publish the card in the boat guide and share the link or QR code.
  3. The borrower finds the task on their phone and can open the related documentation when needed.

Where are we now?

The QR guide exists as a local demonstration; the public service is in development. Printing and a dated copy for use without a connection are planned. Instructions need to be adapted and checked for the particular boat.

Useful tools you can use today.
